What is Medium Term Accommodation used for?

Medium Term Accommodation isn’t a standalone service, but is generally included as part of your NDIS plan along with other services. It is usually funded for up to 90 days, but this can be extended in some circumstances. Funding covers the cost of accommodation, and doesn’t include day to day living costs such as food, internet, utilities, or discretionary spending. It also doesn’t include personal care, which is funded through other categories in your NDIS plan.
